Breugel The Elder        THE BLIND LEADING THE BLIND

WELCOME TO KEN PLUMMERS WEB-BLOG

Welcome to this site. In it I will tell you a little about my interests and my past work. This is the third reincarnation of my web site; the first was built in 2008, the second in 2012, and this one arrived in 2021.

The home page is a BLOG and will be changed regularly. You can search for items through the ’Search Categories’ panel in the side bar. This dropbox menu will guide you to key themes. New material on the themed pages will usually be announced on the home page.

The rest of this site is a WEB SITE and you can here look at various aspects of writings and works that are organised by my key interests,  See the top panel and click on the various drop box titles.

“Doubt may not be a pleasant condition, but certainty is an absurd one” (Voltaire)
“Life is for Living”  (Noel Coward)
“Trifles make the sum of life” David Copperfield (Charles Dickens)

“A map of the world that does not include Utopia is not even worth glancing at ” (Oscar Wilde)
“A blank page so full of possibilities”  (Stephen Sondheim)

    Hi Ken,

I knew you back on seventies via NDC. And a good friend (Michael Hamlyn) who was a student of yours regularly talks of you.
Really like this site. What a good idea.
Sad to read of death of Jock Young a week ago. Taylor Walton Young, McIntosh, Cohen Pearson all gone. Strange. Not seen anyone for years. But feels very empty now.

    Trust you well.

Good to hear from you. Sad news about Jock – and the rest. I would love to have a contact address for Mike Hamlyn if you have one. Hope all is well.
